Psychological training for special children: motivation, confidence, success!
In B. Gafurov district, in the special boarding school for deaf and hard of hearing children named after Tukhtaboy Gafforov, a unique psychological training is being held as part of the project “Inclusive and in-depth education for vulnerable children and youth” (with the support of the Government of Switzerland).
The goal of the training:
To help children develop internal motivation, believe in themselves and learn to overcome difficulties.
Format:
16 interactive sessions, including:
✔️ Working with self-esteem and confidence
✔️ Setting goals using the SMART system
✔️ Time management techniques
✔️ Positive thinking practice
✔️ Group discussions and role-playing games
Feature:
The program is adapted for deaf and hard of hearing children with the involvement of teachers of the deaf and psychologists.
First results:
Children already note that they have become more confident in setting goals and are able to cope with academic workloads more easily.
