First results of Initiative groups

At present time supported Initiative groups received good results. Farmers, who cultivated crops have very nice sprouts, they received high yield. Farmers dealing with milk processing, (they use separators purchased under the project) successfully sale produced cream on local markets.

Some neighbors of Initiative groups’ members come to them to process their milk too. They give for Initiative groups’ members’ cream as payment for the services.

During project monitoring it was found out, that, most of rural population in target regions want to have own business with ICPO “Jovid” support. At present time “Jovid” conducts food prices analysis on the markets in Khujand, Istaravshan, Mastchoh, and Zafarabad regions and received information is distributed among farmers.
