In March 2016 International Charity Public Organisation “Jovid” (ICPO “Jovid”) conducted presentation in two target districts in GBAO (Ishkashim and Murgab) under the project “Skills development and increase of employment opportunities for the youth in Tajikistan”, financed by Welthungerhilfe (German Agro Action), implemented by mentioned above organization.

Representatives of local administration, Employment and labor migration Agency, institutions of professional adult education, Association of Entrepreneurs, other international and public organizations, project beneficiaries, project staff were invited to the presentation.

ICPO “Jovid” Nurmamadov Ramazon brifly informed the participants of the presentation about project activity, projects goals and objectives. ICPO “Jovid” carried out 35 projects within 15 years of its activity in RT, especially in Sughd region; 6 departments are functioning in the organisation where work qualifies staff in different sphere of activity.

The project “Skills development and increase of employment opportunities for the youth in Tajikistan” matches with Republic of Tajikistan Government priority directions of development for the benefit of unemployed youth in Rasht region (Sangvor and Rasht districts) and GBAO (Ishkashim and Murgab districts).

The project duration is 46 months.

The main goal of the given program is to educate, train 1500 youth aged 15-30 years of old in the framework of the developing professional skills. To conduct trainings on entrepreneurship, to organize and conduct TOT for 60 teachers, aimed to improve their knowledge and skills in the field of modern methods of teaching adults. It is also planned, to select and support the best 200 business ideas (group and individual). To secure job places for selected business ideas taking into consideration the labor market needs and beneficiaries desire, to consult entrepreneurs regarding entrepreneurship activity management.

All participants of the presentation highly appreciated the results of the previous project implemented in the region by the organisation and expresse readiness to cooperate inder the project “Skills development and increase of employment opportunities for the youth in Tajikistan”.
